Biography

Dr. Sean Innerst, formerly Director of Religious Education for the Diocese of Rapid City, SD, came to Denver in 1998 as founding Provost of St. John Vianney Theological Seminary where he still teaches and serves as chairman of the theology department. In addition to his work with the Augustine Institute, Dr. Innerst is also the originator and instructor for the popular two-year Journey through the Catechism program in the Archdiocese of Denver. He has contributed to four books, including the Encyclopedia of Catholic Doctrine, and is the author of numerous articles in the popular Catholic press, as well as author of the newly released Blessing to Blessing: The Catechism of the Catholic Church as a Journey of Faith and a new four-part series on the Catechism called Pillars: A Journey through the Catechism, all from Ascension Press.
