Henry J. Amoroso
Henry founded HJA Strategies, a not-for-profit strategic planning firm, in 2010, and is the founding partner of Nowell Amoroso Klein Bierman, PA, a Hackensack, NJ, law firm specializing in complex transactional and business turnaround matters. He holds a J.D. from the Delaware Law School of Widener University.
Most Reverend Samuel J. Aquila
Archbishop Aquila was ordained to the priesthood in 1976 and served the Archdiocese of Denver for 25 years before being appointed Coadjutor Bishop of Fargo, North Dakota in 2001. In 2002, he become bishop of Fargo. He was installed as the eighth Archbishop of Denver in July of 2012.
Tony Church, Chair of the Board
Tony holds a degree in Geology from Yale University and a Master’s degree from the Colorado School of Mines. He spent 34 years in upper management in the Oil and Gas Industry, and he currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Catholic Foundation of Northern Colorado.
Most Reverend James D. Conley
Bishop Conley, a convert to Catholicism, was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Wichita in 1985. After serving in the diocese and at the Vatican, he was ordained as auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Denver in 2008. He was installed as the ninth bishop of Lincoln in November of 2012.
Kathy volunteers her time & resources to a number of organizations where she has been involved in strategic planning, program development, and fundraising initiatives. She is currently on the National Advisory Board for the Catholic Leadership Institute, Executive Advisory Committee for the Center for Ethics and Culture at the University of Notre Dame, a member of the Papal Foundation, & a member of the Priority Planning Team for the Church of St. Mary.
Paul Dudzic, Vice-Chair
Paul hold a law degree from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He formed Pinnacle Development Services in 2001 and has provided business development and asset management services to corporations, celebrities, and organizations around the world.
Lisa earned her MA in Accounting from Texas Christian University. She currently holds directorship or advisory positions in the Stephen Breen Foundation, Legatus Fort Worth, and her parish pastoral council. She is also a member of the Papal Foundation.
Rev. Monsignor Michael Glenn
Msgr. Glenn is immediate past Rector of St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver, where he also oversaw the Catholic Biblical and Catechetical Schools, the St. Francis School of Theology for Deacons, and the Cardinal Stafford Theological Library. He is pastor of Our Lady of Peace in Silverthorne, CO, and St. Mary in Breckenridge, CO.
Dr. Timothy Gray
Tim is President of the Augustine Institute and is a world-renowned speaker, author and teacher. He holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies and also teaches at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary.
Bob has 27 years of real estate experience in various operational, management, finance, acquisition, and disposition capacities. He is co-founder of NexCore Group in Lakewood, a national healthcare real estate development and investment management company, where he serves as COO. He holds degrees in Finance and Accounting.
Joy graduated with a degree in Secondary Education but has spent most of her career in banking, finance, and publishing. She is the owner of AWHFY, L.P., a law book publishing company in Colorado Springs, and she is a member of Legatus.
Bill Keefe, Treasurer
Bill is a founding partner of EKS&H in Denver. He has a degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Nebraska and has more than 40 years of accounting, tax, and management consulting experience.
Mark is co-founder and President of Lighthouse Catholic Media, the largest manufacturer of Catholic audio CDs in the world. He also serves on the Board of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology. He earned his MBA in Finance from DePaul University.
Dr. Denzil Samuels
Denzil is Senior Vice President of Strategic Alliances, Partners and Solutions for Salesforce.com. He was President of Legatus Denver in 2012, and he has also served as VP of Global Business Development for Northrop Grumman and GM of Global Managed Services & Outsourcing for AVAYA.
Kris Sprehe, Secretary
Kris is the past CFO and president of the Colorado non-profit Newborn Hope, Inc. and has served as director for an international soccer tournament. She has a degree in Public Relations and Management.
Mike is the founder and director of HVS Capital Corp, an investment banking firm specializing in structuring acquisitions, developments and refinancing in the lodging and leisure industry. He graduated from the Eller Business School at the University of Arizona.
Charles Zorio has 34 years of Energy Industry experience, primarily in the sector of domestic oil and gas exploration. He is currently president of SS&L Oil and Gas Properties, Inc., an independent exploration company based in Oklahoma City. He graduated from Yale University with a degree in Geology.
